1. Who we are
Aerobot Research & Innovative Engineering Solutions (operating the DGCA-approved “Aerobot RPTO” drone-pilot academy) (“we”, “us”) trains drone pilots and provides related services online and on-campus.
2. What data we collect

3. How we use your data
- Deliver services – enrol you, schedule classes, issue certificates.
- Regulatory compliance – share mandatory flight-log and trainee details with the DGCA and other lawful authorities.
- Improve & secure – analyse anonymous usage to fix bugs and strengthen safety.
- Marketing (opt-in only) – send course updates; you can unsubscribe anytime.
4. Legal basis
We process data under your consent, to perform a contract (your enrolment), to comply with law (DGCA rules, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), and for legitimate interests such as preventing fraud. (DLA Piper Data Protection)
5. How we share data
- DGCA, examiners and accrediting bodies when required.
- Payment gateways and IT vendors bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- No sale of your data—ever.
6. International transfers
Our servers are located in India. If we must transfer data abroad (e.g., cloud backup), we will use contracts or other safeguards that meet DPDP Act standards.
7. Data retention
We keep training and compliance records for five years after course completion (DGCA requirement). Other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, withdraw consent, or transfer your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us (see Section 10). We will respond within 15 days. If unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
